Inherited Recipe Rescue & Modernization Workbook

Description

Have a box of handwritten recipe cards, old cookbook clippings, church-supper recipes, or family favorites that make perfect sense to everyone except the person trying to cook them today?

The Inherited Recipe Rescue & Modernization Workbook helps you preserve what the original recipe actually says, work through confusing measurements and ingredients, document your research, test modern changes, and create a usable version without losing the history attached to it.

This bundle includes:

• 24-page US Letter printable workbook
• 24-page US Letter fillable PDF
• 24-page A4 printable workbook
• 24-page A4 fillable PDF
• Completed Aunt Rose’s Molasses Cake example showing the process from original recipe to tested modern version

The workbook walks you through preserving the original, making an exact transcription, researching unclear terms and measurements, documenting decisions, planning test cooks, recording results, and writing a final modern version.

It is designed for the kinds of recipes that say things like “moderate oven,” “teacupful,” “butter the size of a walnut,” or simply “until done.”

Use it for one special family recipe or repeat the worksheets as you work through an entire recipe box.

Digital product: You will receive a downloadable ZIP file containing the workbook files and completed example. No physical product will be mailed.
